Mexico City

We went to the temple on Saturday.  In the states they say "ward temple trips" when really they should say "ward temple drive there and come back in less than 4 hours."  We here really do go on ward temple trips! I mean we left at 6 am and didn't come home until 10 pm.  We took a bus to our closest temple which happens to be in Mexico City.
Mexico city is PURE CHAOS.  Sure, it has cool parts, but for the most part, that city is ugly, gross, crowded, and chaotic.

- For all of you who cant stand the po po, ya'll are CRAY CRAY because I praise the police over in the states for what they do everyday ( i know they're not all perfect) but for the most part they DO their jobs.  The roads in Mexico city are like they have no rules.  Mexico is a place where you can speed past a cop by the speed limit sign even, and 95% of the time not get pulled over. It's also a place where you don't need seat belts, car seats of any sort, blinkers, helmets, working head lights/tail lights,  etc... -
Anyways, just be grateful people for what you have in the states.  Saturday is really the only day MANY people can take temple trips because no ones working.  So MANY people are at the temple on Saturday.  I'm talking like it took us 2 hours to get into a session and there were not enough lockers for everyone so they put your things in plastic bags and put your name on it.  It's great though, to know so much work is being done in the temple that day, and that so many people are willing to attend.
We had a great time in the temple and it was a beautiful experience as usual.  Also, it was my 1st spanish session, so it was a bit of a milestone in my life.

ALSO, it was my sisters birthday.. I love you paula and happy birthday!
