Recap on our 2012

We had a great 2012.  Our lives had a major change, once again, and we can add year #3 of knowing each other to the history books.
January

• We were in LV expecting our first baby, due on the 21st of January, and came the 25th. Most amazing day of our lives.

February

• Celebrated his first holiday, Valentines Day, all about love, and saw the Vow in theaters. 
• Spent our last month in Las Vegas with the Jensens 
• My baby turned 1 month

March

 

• Came home to San Miguel de Allende Mexico
• Baby's first road trip, a very long 3 day drive to the wayyyy south. haha
• Spent my first days alone with him, while Sam went to work, and no longer had my mom near by. Our very first day alone together was a fail.  He cried practically the whole day.  New me mom, had NO IDEA what to do and cried. (now i know he was just tired, and needed to sleep) EASY fix:)

• baby turned 2 months

April

•  Sam turned 26
• We made a trip to Vernal, he slept about the whole time in my arm:) 
• baby turned 3 months

May

• Baby turned 4 months
• And his buzz happened, that is that last we have seen of his brown hair
• Celebrated my first mothers day! 

June

• Baby turned 5 months
• Rainy season started, it's so cool!

July

• Took him to his first swimming pool in natural warm springs water here in SMA. 
• Rainy season continued, but with AMAZING warm weather, never going over 100 degrees. 
• Started plans to fly to Vegas in September
• Bojan turned 6 months, and began eating table foods
• Sam and I celebrated 2 years of marriage

August

• I turned 22!
• Bojan turned 7 months
• He started  to be daring, standing up in his crib
• He also was a pro at sitting up
• Still hot hot hot and rainy season continues

September

• Took a road trip (Bojan's 2nd) to beautiful San Antonio, TX
• Bojan and I flew to Las Vegas to spend some time with family, our first time back since he was born, to spend some time with my brother Jashon (Elder Jensen) before his mission
• Had an AMAZING family vacation
• Bojan turned 8 months (time is really starting to fly!)
• He learns to crawl in LV

October

 

• Spent much needed time with sisters, brothers, parents, cousins, and nieces and nephews
• Cuddled new baby Dalton
• Had a VERY fussy teething baby, 4 teeth coming in in a matter of 2 weeks was a  nightmare 
• Celebrated my brothers 19th birthday, Toy Story themed thanks to my sister Kamile and I, oh yeah! 
• Enjoyed VEGAS and all its amazing shopping places. 
• Took a week trip to gorgeous CALIFORNIA, which is in my last post before this one:)\
• Bojan turns 9 months
• Celebrates his very first Halloween!

November

• Went to the temple with my little bro and parents was a pretty special experience
• VOTED for Romney, first time voter, was depressed when Obama won again
• Saw Zions Youth Symphony which my brothers were in, and was floored with amazement!
• Flew back home to Sam November 13th, said bye to my brother for 2 years
• Went to a glowing floating lantern thing
• Had a wonderful Thanksgiving, Bojan's first
• Bojan turns 10 months

December

• Celebrated our first Christmas together (not in vegas, just us at our house)
• Had an amazing time watching Bojan open presents 
• Bought Christmas decor for the house, and had a great time decorating the Christmas tree
• Sam's year 1 mark of his business 
• Bojan turned 11 months on Christmas  day
• Sam and I realized how quickly time flies, and how we are almost parents of a 1 year old boy:)
